Hi there! My name is Nathan and I am currently a student at Simon Fraser University studying Computer Science. I have been programming since 2020 where I started out making Roblox games with Lua. Ever since then I have continued to expand my knowledge of programming with things such as teaching myself new programming skills, programming for a VEX VRC Robotics Team (where we placed 42nd out of over 1000 teams), and building projects on my own.
Currently I am a programmer for the SFU RoboRacer Design Team. We are currently building a robot to participate in RoboRacer (formerly F1-Tenth), an international autonomous racing community and educational program created by the University of Pennsylvania. Our goal is to build a fully autonomous 1/10 scale robotic car powered by an NVIDIA Jetson GPU and multiple sensors.
Besides programming, I have a 1st degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, I am an avid video game enjoyer, and I love watching the Vancouver Canucks (or just hockey in general) and the Toronto Blue Jays
